Dutch minister of health is keynote speaker at SNOMED CT Implementation Showcase


​On October 30, 2014 several hundred experts and government representatives from more than 27 countries will gather in Amsterdam at the annual SNOMED CT Implementation Showcase. The time has come to talk about and coordinate efforts to implement a global vendor-neutral health language that adds processable meaning to electronic health records.

This event is a unique opportunity for media to get a status update and to learn more about global efforts to deliver cost-effective, high-quality healthcare. Hereby we invite you to attend the SNOMED CT Implementation Showcase in October.

The event is organized by Nictiz, Centre of expertise on standardisation and eHealth, and IHTSDO, the International Health Terminology Standards Development Organisation. In less than three hours media will be able to get:

  • perspectives from the Dutch Minister of Health (English)
  • a basic briefing on why, how and when a global terminology is needed, opportunities and challenges (in English or Dutch)
  • an opportunity to talk with the people responsible for developing and implementing the global language of health (English)
